Quick start

• Install BulkPilot and open it from your Shopify admin.
• Type what you want to change in plain English. For example, "add a Summer Sale tag to everything over $50 and cut those prices 20%."
• Review the item-by-item preview. Nothing is saved yet.
• Hit Apply, or adjust the interpretation first. You can undo the whole operation in one click, any time.

Is it safe to run on my live store?

Yes. Every edit runs as a preview first, so you see the exact before-and-after for every product before anything is written. Each operation is recorded, and any completed operation can be reverted in one click to the exact prior state, so a mistake is never permanent.

What can I edit?

Prices and compare-at prices, tags, titles, descriptions, inventory, variants, SEO fields, image alt text, and collections, plus metafields and metaobjects on the Pro plan. BulkPilot does not edit orders, customers, or your storefront theme.

How does the AI work, and what does it see?

On the Growth and Pro plans, your plain-English instruction is sent to Anthropic's Claude API and turned into a structured, editable operation that you confirm before anything runs. Only the text of your instruction is sent to the model. Your product catalog is not. If you prefer, the classic filter view lets you build the same edit by hand.

Will it slow down or break my store?

No. Edits run in the background through Shopify's bulk APIs, so even thousands of products update reliably without affecting your storefront or admin speed. If a write only partly completes, the operation is flagged and you can undo it in one click.

What exactly does undo restore?

Undo (and a scheduled auto-revert) restores each product to the exact state BulkPilot recorded before the operation ran. If you or another app changed one of those same fields after the operation was applied, undo will replace that newer value with the recorded one. For time-boxed sales this is usually what you want; if you have made manual edits since, review the change history before reverting.

What happens to my data if I uninstall?

BulkPilot stores only what it needs to show previews, history, and undo, never customer or order data. When you uninstall, your access token is revoked immediately, and all data we hold for your shop is erased. See our privacy policy for details.
